Job Summary

Takes charge of the operations and manpower management of assigned store and ensures attainment of sales quota per brand of assigned store/s.

Job Description

  • Implements store sales strategies to achieve given sales target per brand per store
  • Analyzes and solves problems and concerns affecting sales
  • Performs customer service and administrative functions in a store setting
  • Coordinates with brand coordinators matters regarding merchandise requests and reports stock movement and customer feedback
  • Manages actual selling and customer service
  • Conducts daily pep talks with sales staff to remind them of daily sales target and motivates them to perform at their best

Area Sales Supervisor

Job Summary

Accountable for the attainment of sales quota of assigned area by ensuring that the operations and manpower are being manage efficiently.

Job Description

On Sales Attainment

  • Formulates strategies and solutions to ensure achievement of team's monthly quota.
  • Submits periodic reports to the Store Operations Manager.
  • Analyzes and solves problems as needed.
  • Conducts store visits and assesses competitors and market.
  • Implements excellent standard of customer service.
  • Works with brand coordinators regarding sales targets, merchandise and in coming up with strategies to attain brand quota.

Manpower Management

  • Ensures proper manpower planning, hiring, monitoring, training and evaluation.
  • Checks, approves and monitors store personnel working schedule.
  • Evaluates performance of store staff and recommends promotion, regularization, and other movements or actions.
  • Initiates training needed to improve staff performance.
  • Works with Store Coordinators in hiring store/sales staff.
  • Monitors Supervisors and OICs to implement company policy and procedure.
  • Resolves issues and recommends disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Disseminates information and conducts office day meeting.

Inventory, Cash, and other Assets Management

  • Ensures prescribed control systems are in place and identifies weaknesses and recommends solutions.

  • Coordinates with the Audit Department regarding physical count, reconciliation etc.
  • Ensures cost effective management of supplies and proper use of store properties.

Image Maintenance

  • Ensures consistent and timely image implementation in the stores.
  • Coordinates with Store Planning & Visual Merchandising departments regarding due maintenance and repair works.

Other Administrative Functions

  • Assists the Store Operations Manager in liaising with mall leasing department.
  • Coordinates with suppliers, contractors, banks and other outside agencies as required.

Job Requirements

  • A Graduate of Economics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of work experience in retail for the Coordinator level
  • With knowledge in all facets of store operations, merchandising, visual merchandising and inventory management
  • With proven excellent performance in store operations
